Lena Patricia Pickler of Taylor, Arkansas, passed away at the age of 80 on December 31, 2024. Born April 10, 1944, to parents Wayne and Murrah Pickler, Patricia lived the life she wanted to live with many health struggles along the way. Other passions for her were Arkansas Razorback football, traveling, and her homeless cats that she cared for diligently.
She survived colon cancer three times, a heart attack, broken bones, and other effects relating to Turner Syndrome. She always said her picture should be in the medical books about Turner’s because she had 19 of the symptoms.

She is survived by her sister, Paula and husband Larry, of Minden, Louisiana, nephew Heath Hadwin and wife, Leslie, great nephew Jordan, great niece Cooper, and special cousins, Nora Corcoran, Mary Ann Elmore, Lee Ann Moore, Paul Edwyn Griffin, and Sam Griffin.

Kim Susan Nelson
1967- 2023
Kim came into this world a wee fighter at just over 4lbs.
That spirit continued throughout her life.
Kim was a person who only ever wanted to be helpful to all: her family and her many friends. She gave value to her friendships and only asked for that in return. And she got it back tenfold.
She loved singing in multiple choruses: The Rock Voices, her Interfaith Chorus, and joined her mother in The Swinging Seniors. She had Turner Syndrome but she made the best of it. In fact, she went to her first Turner convention in Texas this past summer. Where she met wonderful people and had a great time.
She had hidden stores of energy she'd break out when we weren't expecting it!! She danced literally the entire evening of her sister's wedding. Many guests said "She Wins!"
She loved our mother fiercely. And cared for her so well. They were "running the circuit" we would say, going from one senior center to another getting all the activities in!!
Kim is survived by her mother, Jean, brother, Craig, sister in law Michelle, her dear nephews Alexander and Andrew, her sister Leigh and brother in law Tyler. As well as her cousin and best friend Dawn and lifelong friends Bob and Carolyn.
She is predeceased by her father Eric, her beloved cousin Elizabeth, as well as other cherished family members.
We hope they are all together again finding some comfort, as we turn to each other to find that comfort here.
Services will be held Saturday January 6, 2024 at Christ Church United 10 Arlington St Dracut, MA at 1pm.
With a short reception at the church to follow.
In lieu of flowers please donate in Kim's name to the Turner Syndrome Society of the United States. Link below: https://turnersyndrome.app.neoncrm.com/np/clients/turnersyndrome/donation.jsp

Cyndi Renee Barto
2014-2023
Once upon a time in Seattle...
8:56 Am, January 22nd 2014 to be exact!
A beautiful Princess was born. Weighing 4 pounds, 9 ounces and measuring 19" long.
Cyndi Renee Barto went by many names: Buggy, Ninny and Cyndi Lou Who, were just a few.
This tiny wonder was no ordinary princess- oh no! There was just something about her... It was as though sunshine came directly from her. Her beautiful soul seemed so large for such a tiny body. Everyone who met her immediately lost a piece of their heart to her.
This little princess was a fierce warrior. Having been born with many obstacles that most would just accept as defeat, Cyndi continuously broke every assumption about her over the years. First, she would never roll over. Well, she did so- and topped that by sitting up on her own as well! Then she would never be able to stand or walk unassisted... Princess Cyndi said, "Bet!" She later attended school and proved to them she didn't need a wheelchair to get around!
Cyndi had the pleasure of growing up around her many cousins who doted on, loved and supported her thoroughly. And she was certainly going to keep up with them as much as she could! Living in a shared household with her loving mother, Sylvana Chapman, sweet little sister Gracie, Auntie/Mama Megan Marie Adamson, Uncle Nyle Adamson and her amazing cousins kept Cyndi active, thriving and of course, Sassy!
Throughout many surgeries Princess Cyndi continued to show us the possibilities if we were just able to keep up with her!
Unfortunately, on Christmas day 2023 at 12:48pm, Cyndi's warrior heart could no longer recover from the trauma of surgery and she passed, cuddled up in her mother's embrace with daddy Ryan watching over them. Her soul, going to meet those who have gone before her. There is no doubt that she ran unimpeded and joyfully into her Grandmother and namesakes arms to wait for the rest of us.
Until then, watch for her fluttering with the butterflies, and remember to celebrate the winter holidays with some extra lights in her honor. How lucky were we to be a part of Cyndi's life?
It is the wish of the family for Cyndi to be interred with her Grandmother. As par for the course, no one is ever prepared for a loss, particularly a child. Many have expressed interest in helping financially and it is appreciated more than you know. We are currently setting up this Gofundme and if you would like other options please contact us directly. There will be a celebration of life on the 20th of January and later this year, a smaller more intimate gathering for the internment once we have raised the funds to cover that part.

Elaine Marie Ritzert
1960-2022
Elaine Marie Ritzert, 62, of Evansville, Indiana passed away Thursday, June 16, 2022 at St.Vincent Medical Center. Elaine was born in, Evansville, Indiana on February 6, 1960 to William "Bill" John and Anna Marie (Bayer) Ritzert. Elaine attended St. Theresa grade school where she started to play the organ for mass. She graduated from North High School in 1978 where she was a member of the marching band. After high school, Elaine went to Indiana University in Bloomington and eventually finished her master's degree at IUPUI. While at Indiana University, Elaine dreamed about being in the marching band but was not selected because of her short stature, due to Turner's Syndrome. While looking for answers, Elaine's mother, Anna, wrote a letter to the president demanding a reason. IU responded, that she wouldn't fit in the uniform and she couldn't do the marching style because of her short stature. Throughout life, Elaine did not let the disability stand in her way. Because of her strength, her siblings didn't even realize she struggled with a disability. After graduating college, Elaine found her first job at an adult daycare center in Philadelphia as a music therapist. She worked there for 15 years. She eventually moved back to Evansville and took a job at Good Samaritan as the Activities Director. She continued to work at Good Samaritan until her death. Faith was very important to Elaine. She was a life-long Catholic and was a current member of St. John the Evangelist in Daylight, Indiana. Elaine was a professed member of Brothers and Sisters of Charity based out of Arkansas where she took the vows of poverty, obedience and charity as a lay person. She was also a member of the Turner Syndrome Association. She played the organ for many different Catholic churches in Evansville including, St. Theresa, St. Clements in Boonville and was currently playing at St. John the Evangelist. As Fr. Forler said "Elaine was a saintly woman. The embodiment of perseverance". Elaine will be dearly missed by all those who knew and loved her. Jennifer Beth Mazer

Dr. Jennifer Beth Mazer, 50, died unexpectedly on February 1, 2022, in Greensboro, North Carolina, after suffering an aortic dissection. She was welcomed into Heaven by her father, Charles, who preceded her in death by almost 20 years.
Beth was born on December 31, 1971, in Lubbock, Texas, but from age 8 months was raised in Texarkana, TX. She attended Texas High, completed a BS in biology at Austin College, and went to medical school at the UT Health Science Center at San Antonio. Born with Turner syndrome, a chromosomal condition, she saw pediatric specialists her entire childhood and aspired to help other kids by becoming a pediatrician herself. She lovingly cared for patients in Palestine, Nacogdoches, and San Antonio, TX, before moving her talents and her family to NC in May 2019.
Beth loved to travel and to sing. She was fluent in Spanish. She was a terrible cook but usually happy to help with the dishes. Linda June (Krafcsik) Keely, 64, formerly of Newtown, passed away suddenly and unexpectedly on March 29, 2020, as the result of a massive cerebral hemorrhage sustained from a fall. Born on October 24, 1955 in Danbury, CT.
Linda grew up in Newtown and attended Bridgeport School of Nursing for one year before moving to Salina, Kansas to finish her nursing degree. Upon graduation from Marymount College, she moved to Kansas City to pursue her profession in nursing which ultimately led to a very fulfilling 37 year career. Linda decided she wanted to be nurse when she was in sixth grade and was a cardiac patient at Yale New Haven Hospital. She was enamored by the work of those attending to her. She retired in 2016 due to a progressive hearing loss.
She was generous to all with monetary funds and/or by donation of her time to volunteer activities, which usually revolved around medical needs of the underserved.
Linda had Turner Syndrome (TS) which presented its own set of challenges throughout her life. She managed numerous medical issues, one being hearing loss associated with this condition, with commitment to maintain her health and enjoy a full life. She was very active in the local KC Turner Syndrome chapter and loved attending the national Turner conventions. She enjoyed spending time with long lasting friends, many of them being fellow TS gals who were dear to her. She also maintained numerous friendships from childhood, college, and past nursing jobs via phone calls, text messages, and frequent lunch dates. All of Linda’s friends meant a great deal to her and deeply enriched her life.
Linda loved to travel and took many trips with friends as often as she was able to over the years. She was disappointed the trips she had planned for this spring/summer had been canceled or postponed due to COVID-19. Linda loved to learn new things and had recently taken sign language classes and clarinet classes. She had taken knitting lessons for many years. She routinely worked out with a trainer to maintain her health, strength, and balance.
Linda married Jon Keely on October 4, 1980. They had no children of their own, but Linda adored her niece and nephew and attended all major events that marked their lives. She was always interested in their lives and accomplishments. She oversaw and managed her mother’s health for 2 ½ years when she was failing from cancer. Linda’s nursing skills and compassion were invaluable during this time.
