TSSUS Launches New Blog in Time for TS Awareness Month!
Welcome to the new Turner Syndrome Society of the United States blog!
This blog has been in the works for some time, but we wanted to launch it this February alongside Turner Syndrome Awareness Month.
In 2010, TSSUS introduced TS Awareness Month to bring attention to this little-known genetic condition. Since that time, February has been widely adopted across the world by most Turner syndrome organizations as the month to talk about Turner syndrome.
In celebration of TS Awareness Month this year, TSSUS will be spotlighting a new "My TS Story" feature each day in February in the TSSUS Blog. Over the course of the last year or so, we've been asking you, the TS community, to tell us about yourself, your daughters, your triumphs and your challenges. We've collected these stories and pictures and are so excited to share them with everyone! We hope you find as much hope, inspiration, love and joy in them as we have.
New my TS stories will be published each day in February at 2:00 p.m. CST. Please share these stories with your friends and families.
We've also launched an awareness and fundraising campaign called TSSUS Blue Jeans for Butterflies in time for TS Awareness Month. This is fun way to host a denim day or dress down day at your work or school. You can order your BJFB Tool Kit here.
If you would like to contribute your TS Story for consideration, you can do so by clicking "Share Your Story." If you have an idea for the TSSUS Blog, please submit a writing sample to becky@turnersyndrome.org.
