I've Overthrown Every Trial Thrown My Way - by Elizabeth French

My name is Elizabeth French. I was diagnosed with Turner syndrome (TS) when I was young - I want to say 3 years old, but I could be wrong. Most girls are diagnosed when they fail to hit puberty. My mom noticed my head was growing but not my body, and she asked my pediatrician and the pediatrician (who had studied TS and heard of it ) said let’s get a karyotype. Low and behold, I have it.

I’m 32 years old and had a normal childhood. My parents never treated me any different than my older sister, and am living a normal life. My parents always supported me in everything I did, and still do to this day. Not to say there haven’t been trials, but I’ve overcome every obstacle I’ve had thrown my way thus far.
