Live Life at Your Own Pace - by Marissa Meling

My name is Marissa. I am 31 years old. When I was 7, I was diagnosed with Turner syndrome (TS). I love spending time with my friends and family. I am most proud of becoming a registered nurse. My parents never let me see Turner syndrome as a weakness but rather, a strength. My favorite TV show is Friends. One thing I would tell my younger self is that there are no times for when things should happen. Everyone goes through life at their own pace, and you shouldn’t compare yourself to others.
